How Wishat works

A note from today,
waiting for tomorrow.

Wishat is a private time capsule for your own words. There are no accounts, feeds, followers, or newsletters — only a note from you, returned to you later.

    Write a note for yourself

    Write anything you want to meet again later: a thought, a hope, a reminder, or a small snapshot of today. It is a private note, written only for you.

    Choose when it returns

    Pick a calendar date from tomorrow up to ten years ahead, and your time zone. We send your note around 9:00 AM on that day in your time zone, so it arrives at a gentle moment in your morning.

    Verify, then wait

    Confirm your email address from your inbox within 24 hours. Once confirmed, your wish is scheduled and we email you a private link to manage it. On the day you chose, you receive the exact note you wrote.

Questions, answered

How long do you keep my wish?
If you never confirm your email, we delete the wish after 7 days. After we deliver it, we delete the text of your note and your email address from our systems 30 days later. We keep only the date and whether it was sent.
Can I change or delete it?
Yes. After you confirm, we email you a private link. Until the day it is sent, you can use it to read your wish, edit the text, change the date or the email address, or delete it. Deleting erases the message and email right away.
What happens if I change my email address?
We send a confirmation link to the new address. Until you confirm it, your wish still goes to the old one.
Who can read my wish?
Only someone with your private link. Treat it like a password: please don't share or forward it. We will never ask you for it.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts, passwords or newsletters. We only email you to confirm your address, to confirm the schedule, and to deliver your wish.
